Income sopport for Dependent's ILR

I'm on british passport and my wife will apply for her ILR as my dependent in December 2012. She was on her Tier 1 visa before changing it to dependent's visa. She is financially independent and earns more than the earning limit set for Tier 1/ILR.

If I don't have any job while applying for her ILR or can't produce my income proof, can we just produce her income proof to show that we don't need public funds or we're financially OK?
