hello dears

my application for psw was refused in 19 december 2009. and my student visa was going to expire on 11 january 2010. so i left uk. Due to pankina judgement i applied for review. home office accept it and i applied to visa on 10th september 2011 at islamabad fedex office. Documents reach on 13th september 2011 to ukba abu dhabi. status of my application shows " YOUR VISA HAS BEEN SEND TO EMBASSY FOR PROCESSING". its been almost 2 week and still the same status. whats can be the reasons for it? someone told me if you dont register for sms reply (which cost 200 rupees) then your status will not be updated unless and until your application is approved or decline and is send back to fedex. then they will update it. is it true?
