Tier 1 Extension and doctors in training

Post by hamada_2010 » Sat Oct 08, 2011 12:41 am

Dear all,

I am a doctor working as FY2, and I am due for extension on 26/03/2011, however I am thinking to apply next month, as I am applying for spciality training next month, and the prsence of three months before the expiry date will affect my application to the speciality training. My questions:

1- Will this affect my application to ILR?

2- Do I need a lawyer, espcially that I am planning to apply through the same day premium service? If YES, any recommendations?

3- What exactly do I need to avoid any restriction regarding doctors in training?

Thanks a lot for taking time reading my questions, and thanks every body in advance for your great help.

1. Read 45.
2. Your choice, dependent on your confidence, ability to comprehend information, etc.
3. Read Appendix A and page 17 of this UKBA document.
