Hi
Can anybody please clarify -
ACADEMIC PROGRESSION WILL ONLY BE A MEASURE FOR CASs.
Is that means academic progression is only applicable if student previous visa was on the bases of CAS.
Below information i got it from http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... /qahts.pdf
What information is required to demonstrate academic progression?
ï‚· We want to be sure that students progress academically between courses.
ï‚· Confirmation of progression was introduced in July 2011 and will only be a measure for CASs when it is mandatory for progression to be stated.
ï‚· We appreciate that a few students may need to repeat a year or may change their course. The new policy expects those Tier 4 sponsors applying for HTS, where required, to declare academic progression in 100 per cent of CASs issued.
One Scenario
Mr A came to UK on student visa on Level 6 course.
He cannot finish Level 6 course.
Now he want to study another Level 6 course in another college.
As according to above information Confirmation of progression was introduced in July 2011 and will only be a measure for CASs when it is mandatory for progression to be stated.
So the previous visa was not on the basis of CAS. So Mr A can do another Level 6 course.
I just want to know am i interpreting the information correctly.
Hope somebody will clarify me.
Thanks
