questions on ILR application, dependants

Post by v3 » Fri Oct 14, 2011 3:31 pm

Hi,

I have 3 questions

1. I am applying for ILR next month. Me and my wife have seperate tier 1 general visa and my kid is dependant on my wifes visa. So next month when i apply for ILR can they apply as my dependant ? or will i have to get ILR first and they can apply as my dependant later ?

2. where can we apply for ILR dependant visa ? can we do it in UK or have to go to home country (INDIA) and apply?

3. I had got my tier 1 visa on feb 28 2007 and extension on march 27 2009 so legally my 5 year would have completed by feb 27 2012 hence can i take PEO appointment on feb 1 2012 ?

4. I am facing difficulty booking PEO online appointment ..I keep getting stuck at https://apply.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/ia ... l=formList

it is not taking me to step of taking appointment. Any1 faced similar problems ?

thanks
V3
cheers

No.

Switch to FLR(M). Include child in wife's application.

See FAQs for ILR - WP/Tier 1/Tier 2/HSMP holders

So my wife will have switch to FLR(M), which is extension of stay in the UK as the partner of a person present and settled in the UK. So that means my wife and kid will be on ILR after approval ?

FLR= further (limited) leave to remain (285).
ILR = indefinite leave to remain (288).
