No you cant use the gold as savings unless you sell the gold and the cash you receive from it, is then transferred to a saving account. Its very unlikely a woman would sell her gold in the first place anyway.wahab86 wrote:Hi Guys,

wahab86 wrote:Hi all
Just a question which is killing me for past few days
i am due to apply in jan 12
my wife is british citizen and is a student and i am on work permit working as an accountant. will my income be assessed and will be okay? as I am sure they look at income from both sponsor and applicant? I hope to hear something back soon since this forum has always been helpful for others who need help
also if possible can anyone provide me sample of cover letter please and is anyone in the same situation as i am ( sponsor british citizen, student and not working and applicant working )
Kind regards
Wahab
