Applying PSW visa during study?

Hi, I did my first master degree last year. I will get this degree in this Dec. Now, I am studying a second degree with a new student visa expires in Feb 2013. As PSW visa will be canceled in Apr 2012.
Can I apply PSW visa under this situation?
Can I get PSW visa during study with a new student visa?
IF I can get it, my student visa will become invalid, right?
Can I hold PSW to study?

yea, you can study on psw.

Make sure your uni knows that you no longer on a student visa beforehand and that you will be continuing to study nevertheless while on PSW

Also ensure that the degree was not awarded over 12 months ago!

if you satisfy psw requirements, yes they will give you visa. But your student visa will be superseded automatically and u just need to be aware of implications of that to ensure you are not in breach of any immig law
