Hello All,

I have recd. my HSMP approval in July 06 and my dead line for EC is 31st Dec 2006...I had applied for HSMP from India(Home country) and i am in US currently on H1 visa...

I am trying my best to go to India and get my EC, but my work schedule is really stopping me to get 15-20 days off and go to India

My Q. is
1) If i apply for EC in last month of deadline(Dec), is ther any risk/being too late?? How much time EC takes??My guess is 2 weeks..
2) Can i apply for EC from US,although it has been applied from India??I know that UK embassay doesnt encourage it, but still..

BTW, i dont want to miss out on HSMP , so not going for EC is out of Q..I am opting for UK and not US..

From where did you applied for HSMP?
