Tier1 Extension - Employed or SelfEmployed

Post by petu_13 » Sat Oct 29, 2011 1:02 pm

All,

I'm applying for Tier1 General Extension and director of my Limited company (IT services) and being paid via Salary & Dividends.

As I'm employee of my own company for B26 do I select Employed of Self Employed? Please advise.

I'm claiming points via for earnings via salary & dividend and have also received a letter from my accounts.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I had a similar situation so I called HO Help line in regards to Employed or Self Employed selection. They asked me where do i get the most earnings from ? In my case it was my employment so I selected Employed.

However I did detailed everything in the cover letter and stated the salary sources in the earnings section clearly stating my company name and salary and the dates + employment company name salary and the dates.

although my application is still getting processed.

Hope that helps and best of luck with your application.

You are Employed by your own Limited company so you should select Employed.
