Tier 1 PSW Dependant to Tier 4 General Student ?????

Dear All,

I am writing on behalf of my wife.

She is currently on Tier 1 PSW Dependant VIsa and wantesd to ally for Tier 4 Student General category. CAn she apply within UK or she has to go back to home country.

Because I have been told by university visa advisor to apply within uk. Also, as per UKBA website Tier 1 PSW can change to Tier 4 Student. And there is no mention about PSW Dependant.

Your original question is referring to someone who is PSW dependant; that's not PSW. We can only comment on the information given by the people asking the questions.

The website makes no mention of PSW dependents switching to tier 4 because they can't. As Lucapooka says, a PSW dependent would have to return home and apply for entry clearance
