PSW to Tier 1 (general) Dependent

Hi All,

I am an Indian currently in the UK, on a PSW, which expires in March 2012. However, I'm getting married this January and my partner is on a Tier 1 General visa until 2013. I work here in a permanent role.

Obviously, I need to apply for a Tier 1 dependent visa, as the PSW to Tier 1 transfers are now closed. My questions are below:

1) Can I apply for a Tier 1 Dependent visa from within the UK before my PSW expires? (Considering that I'm already working) OR will I need to go back to India and apply from outside of UK?

2) If I can apply from within the UK, can someone please send me a list of necessary/supporting documents that I would need at hand to be able to apply? Any any helpful information/advice.

3) Which VAF would suit me and how much money would I need in my bank accout to be able to qualify?

4) Are there any complications/special case/exceptions that I would be a part of as an applicant?

No you cannot make an in-country application unless if your last leave was granted as your partner's dependant

You have to lodge your application from outside the UK

Sorry I have not understood your question 4. But I should point out that if you make your application from the UK, it will be refused.
