How to get documents back from HO?

Hiya, my husband applied for citizenship on 04/08 and is waiting for the approval. The phone number given on the acknowledgement letter does not give him an option to speak to real person. Can you please advise on what phone number to call and ask about the status? Also, the work agency he works for now don't want to pay him until he shows them the residency card which is now in HO. We didn't even photocopy it for ourselves before posting to HO Is there a way to get the documents back now?

write them a letter and also provide them a self addressed special delivery envelope for quick reply, hope this will work. goodluck.

If you call UKBA, it will suffice, they will let you know on the phone what else you need to do.

If one requests documents back from HO is it treated as withdrawn application and a new one needs t be made? Or is it possible to request passport back and then send it back again?

You can request your passport for urgent travel, they will let you know if they need it again.
