British Passport application query

Post by poshandbecks1 » Sat Oct 29, 2011 2:29 pm

Hello All,

I got my Naturalisation certificate in July and I am just about to apply for my British Passport. Please do I have to be in employment to apply? Also I don't know my grand parents details , I never knew them as my Dad has passed on. Lastly I don't know names of people living in my house as I live in a shared house... Thanking you all in advance.

No.

Does the (British passport) form ask for such details?

Again, does the (British passport) form ask for such details?
Life isn't fair, but you can be!

Thanks for your reply sushdmehta, the reason I asked about the grandparents details is because I wanted to do check and send @ the post office and the lady said it was compulsory..
Also about the people living in the house, I was told they ask such questions at the interview.

Regards.

..

Tell her its not compulsory as you have a Naturalisation certificate.

If youre asked, tell whatever you know; its not a trick question.
