Query related to the Form AN

Friends,

I am in the process of filling up the 'Form AN' and had a query and would be grateful if someone could try to answer the query.

In Form AN:

Section 2: Residence requirements

Sub-section 2.2: Details of all absences from the UK

Let's say I left the UK on 12 March 2008 and returned back to the UK on 26th April 2008. How many days of absence would that be i.e. how does one calculate the total numbers of days absent....does one include or exclude the day of departure and return when calculating the numbers of days absent from the UK?

Count only full days outside the UK so don't count day of departure and day of arrival. In your example: 44 days.
