Maintenance Funds present outside UK, for Tier-1 Extension

Hi all,

Can we use our maintenance funds available outside UK e.g. in HSBC in home country account? I am talking extending one's Tier-1 after living in UK for more than year.

Yes, and use the exchange rate from Oanda.com on the final date of the 3 month period to show the equivalent in pounds sterling meets the requirement
