ILR for my mother from India

Post by SueO0103 » Wed Nov 09, 2011 4:05 pm

Hello,

I'm a British Citizen and so is my husband. I lost my father recently and my mum who has been a house wife, is 59 years old lives in India by herself. I have a younger sis who lives in the US with her husband.

I would like her to come and stay with me permanantly.

Given my mum's age, in your experience, do you think my application for her ILR will be successful?

She is not dependant on me or my sis financially.

Many thanks
Sue

There is no chance given her age and independence. By all means seek professional advice, where you can divulge the full details of her circumstances, but from the little you have I said here, it's not possible.
