Not on that basis alone. But, as I say, how are you going to prove her citizenship status without her agreement to help by supplying relevant documentation?

Hi

Thanks for your help. will be a copy of her birth certificate and marriage certificate is that enough and she wont be in the proceeding how are my chances ?

Where and when was she born? (Birth in the UK before 1983 almost always resulted in British citizenship at birth; since then it is more complicated.)

In that case a birth certificate might well be enough to prove to the satisfaction of the authorities that she is a British citizen.

Hi

I Have a question john do u think Financial CCJ will affect someone to apply for naturalisation forever because I got debt and due to apply for naturalisation I talk to lawyer and said it wont affect naturalisation unless you have criminal record. I would appreciate your help

before you do submit your application makesure you get enough advice on submitting just the copy of your wifes birth certificate. I am thinking that in the event that the caseworker does not accept it and requests more paperwork that could leave you in lot of trouble
