Tier 4 Dependant Visa Extension in the UK

Hi

As u might be aware recent changes to the Tier 4 on July 4th. My question is, if someone who is studying a private A rated college in the UK. applies for Further Leave to remain in the uk, for another new course or a re-sit existing course of study, will his dependant be grantef FLR since they are already in the UK. Please advise.
