New Proposed Law for Spouse Visa ?

Post by zafarzafar80 » Tue Nov 22, 2011 2:39 pm

Hi All,

I would appreciate if you could answer my question please.

Last night i switched on the television and on a local television channel a solicitor was discussing the propsed new law for a british spouse or holder of Indefinate remain to leave to sponsore their non EU spouse on a spouse visa.

The new proposed law is that " The sponsoring spouse should be earning 18K+ and the second figure is 28K+. If the British spouse of a Non EU person is not earning this amount they would not be issued the spouse visa.

The 18K+ or 28K+ salary is not yet set by home office. and would be implemented at later stage once the new law is drafted.

My questionis: Is there such a thing exist or any body heard aboud it ?

Thanks in Advance
