thanks Jambo. what do you mean here by if it is suitable. I fulfill all other requirments like life in the UK test, residence period. So in your opinion if all other requirments are ok,i should submit an application for naturalisation?many thanksJambo wrote:There is no need to request it. The caseworker applies discretion if it is suitable.
As per HO guidelines, up to 100 days is normally disregarded.
Thanks again Jambo.Just 1 more question ,Thats for future.Looking at time scale of processing I think it would be somewhere in March 2012 I will recieve my approval.I am going away for few months from March on.How long will I have till I can apply for ceremony/Passport?Is there any time restriction?I will be using NCS to submit application. Please advise. Many many thanksJambo wrote:Yes.
You have 3 months to attend the ceremony from the date of the approval. After the ceremony you can apply for a passport anytime you wish.aulakh wrote: Thanks again Jambo.Just 1 more question ,Thats for future.Looking at time scale of processing I think it would be somewhere in March 2012 I will recieve my approval.I am going away for few months from March on.How long will I have till I can apply for ceremony/Passport?Is there any time restriction?I will be using NCS to submit application. Please advise. Many many thanks
Looks like PakistanP.S. Where the heck this advert came from and highjacked my post?
Hi Jambo.Yes PR was recieved as a family member of EEA.I needed the passport to travel so HO sent me PR on A4 paper.I read on forum somewhere that employer letter proves good character. My passport was stamped pretty much every time apart from last two visits.Lol.Argued with ECOs on airports but they never knew their own rules so gave up eventually. So the documents I have mentioned, thats all i need? Please correct me if I m wrong. Many thanks for your help.Much appreciated.Jambo wrote:Are you a EEA national (or family member of EEA national)?
You don't need an employer letter (unless you are under EEA regulations and you plan to use the employer letter to prove residency as your passport is not stamped on entries).
