What's next? after applying British citizenship using MN(1

Post by fajr » Wed Nov 23, 2011 2:05 pm

Hi

My baby born in the UK when I was in Tier 1 visa back in March 2011. I have got ILR in late October and yesterday I have applied for British Citizenship for my baby using MN1 (section 1(3))

I am wondering what's next before getting British passport? and How long it will take?

Thanks

See this sticky - MN1 (registration) application processing timelines (only).

After your child receives the Registration Certificate, you can apply for a passport for him when and if you wish.

Thanks for your replies. Good to know I don't have to do anything (and pay for) before applying for the passport.

Yes, logging details in application processing timelines.
