Limited Companies and HSMP renewal

Does anyone know if I move to the UK on a HSMP and set myself up as a limited company (if I end up contracting) will that affect in any way my chances of getting my HSMP renewed at the end of the first year?

Being self-employed (e.g., working for own co.) is a fine way to the HSMP renewal, as long as you can document your economic activity, and hopefully income as well.
