Hi all i applied for my wife's visa in July 2011 and it got refused in september 2011 on some stupid reasons I have appealed through a solicitor on the beginning of October I have received notice of pending appeal on the 11th oct with a date of 22 february 2012 but since then I haven't had any response my solicitor said she is hoping the decision will get overturned by the Eco in review I was wondering if anyone is in the same same situation as me and how long do they take to do the reviews as I'm sick of waiting

my hubys cse was rejected in oct..sent appeal of in nov and recieved notice leter yesterday wiv the date april 2012

can i ask wht reason it was refused on plz??..

It was refused on marriage cert not stamped by union council even though the law came out in October not in July
Calling cards not accepted even though I sent last 5 months mobile phone bills showing calling card numbers dialled every day
Wedding photos don't show us getting married when I clearly sent 20 photos of my wedding and 10 photos of honey moon after wedding
The solicitor said it's the worst excuses ever

hello all,

i guess we all r in same situation:

Application Date : 5th sept, 2011 New Delhi, VFS
Refusal Date : 4th Oct, 2011
IAFT2 Form Sent : sent to Leicester, UK on 22nd Oct, 2011
Notice of Pending appeal recieved : stating 27th feb, 2012 as deadline...

no further action till now.. :(

lucy_2011 - what was the reason for refusal in your case please?
Feb 2012 - Spouse Visa - New Delhi
Mar 2012 - Documents collected - VISA Granted
March 2014 - ILR Granted
Apr 2015 - Applied for Naturalisation
Nov 2015 - Naturalised

they believe our marriage is not genuine.... the most common excuse they have to refuse.... heartless people

Its like when they want to refuse cases they will do regardless of the solid proof or devotion given. Its all luck i guess!

Some cases are so weak yet somehow they get approvals within 2 weeks.
