UK SPOUSE VISA

Post by pakistani » Tue Nov 29, 2011 9:06 pm

I am wondering if my wife will get settlement visa. She has applied for settlement visa from Pakistan. I am a British Citizen living in UK for 10 years. I was married and divorced and attached decree absolute. I earn £ 1000 PM and live in a rented accomodation. Because of new policy I heard about low income sponsor I am thinking that my wife might have problem in getting settlement visa because of my low income. Any suggestion? By the way I am not on any benefit.[/b]

You need £105.95 remaining weekly after paying rent, council tax and any loan repayments. There's no confirmation yet that the higher level of income will be introduced in 2012.

My wife has already applied lets see what happens. Another thing I wanted to know that she has done IElTS general training and she got 5.5 (band score). So IELTS english test is acceptable?

If your wife has already applied and your response to anyone who answers your questions is 'let's see what happens' what is the point of asking further questions about an application that has already been submitted?

Greenie is right in what he is saying. If you have handed the application in, then its to late to seek advice on the subject now.

Wait till the outcome of the decision now. You cant to anything until it is refused. Then you are welcomed to ask questions and people will try and help you.
