ILR Experience 2 December 2011 Solihull PEO

Post by dramit » Sat Dec 03, 2011 8:39 am

I must admit that this forum has helped me a lot to get insight to PEO expectations for ILR applications and personal thanks to Jami, Here is my experience,

Documents I took

1. Application form
2. Photos
3. five year's P60
4. five year bank statements
5. Five year salary slips
6. co habitation documents: joint bank statements 3 years, council letters, property mortgage documents and registration documents
7. life in uk letters
8. letter from employers confirming no unpaid leave taken and confirmation of annual leave

appointment 9.00 am

arrived 8.15am, gates open sharp at 8.30am, two couples were waiting before us, security check and token given, our token number was called at 8.45am

a very pleasant lady (cw) welcomed us, asked for application form, she looked at absence sheet (i had total 188 days in five years without calculating outbound and inbound dates, total 11 trips, all annual leave no unpaid leave, no gaps in jobs)

documents she asked
1. 12 m bank statements
2. 12 m pay slips
3. life in uk (she asked me to if we would like to know scores and then she asked us to guess who would have got more marks, i said my wife, to which she acknowledged and said my wife has got 100% and i have got one wrong)
4. she then asked for cohab documents, checked bank statements and council letters

I took photocopies but she did not take any. I asked if she would want to have a look at my employers letters for absences, she replied there is no need as leave is less than 200 anyway. thats all, she took less than 15 minutes including some checks on computer and then told us that ilr will be granted and asked me to pay and then take my wife for breakfast as she has scored better than me. paid by credit card, no problems. collected passports at 10.45.

I must say cw was very nice and cooperative, a great experience without any problems

good luck everyone
