Query - Dependant (Ankara Agreement)

Post by hatibo » Sat Nov 26, 2011 7:28 pm

I would really want to know if anybody was in the same one.My husband got a work permit visa under the Ankara agreement for Turkish nationals in may 2009.He got his ILR in September 2011 from 10 years residency.I have a visa until 2013 as a dependant. Can I apply ILR as a spouse and count my 2 years as a dependant or do I have to wait another 2 years.
Kind Regards

The latter. Under current rules, 2 years from the date FLR(M) leave is issued.

why would you want to apply for spouse visa? go straight for ILR. You become eligible for ILR at the same time your husband becomes eligible if he was on a Work Permit. No probationary period for work permit dependents.
