applied in person at PEO during strike - still waiting

Post by mysti77 » Tue Dec 06, 2011 9:18 pm

Last week Wednesday I had my ILR appointment in Croydon PEO.

I was told my documents were in order but because of the strike action i would need to come back to collect my documents as although the guy granted me ILR they needed to do security checks and put the ILR in my passport. He said they would call in about 5 working days to collect my documents. It's been 5 days and I have not heard back. Is there any way I can contact them to find out? I paid for a premium service and feel a bit frustrated that there is no proper reference number or contact number. The only thing I have is a piece of paper saying I paid and one saying the documents they kept from me.

Thanks,
Sasha

Don't worry Sasha.

A year back, I was in the same situation when I applied for Tier1 extension on Premium and it snowed for three days starting the day I applied !. The office took my application and couldn't do anything for the next 4 days. But once the offices came back to life after the snow, they promptly processed it and send it to the address mentioned in the application. (2 days before I was to fly to India).

So, Be positive and hopefully you get your ILR soon.
