switch from tier-4 student visa to dependantds visa

Post by nishad.zaman » Fri Dec 16, 2011 8:02 pm

Hi, I am currently studying in a highly trusted college; I came here in September 2010. My wife came last September 2011 here and we are now living together, she is studying in a FE highly trusted college, studying Travel and tourism course, duration 2 years. My visa going to be expired on 30 April 2012. So I want to switch in dependents visa as husband. Thus, please can anyone tell me that how can I do so? (I am a disable person, my right leg is affected by poliomyelitis and I am here registered with GP). Please anyone let me know. Looking forward to your valued answer. Thank you.

You would have to apply from your home country and only on the basis that your partner was sponsored by a higher education institution on a course at NQF level 7 or above which lasts 12 months or more. A higher education institution (HEI) is a 'recognised body' (meaning that it has its own UK degree-awarding powers), or a body in receipt of public funding as a HEI.

Thanks. yes, I know that. But fact is that we want to switch from here, cause my physical condition is not quite fit and my wife takes care of me. Thus, fact is as she is not studying in HE institution so I will not be able to apply from outside. So that is there any other way through human rights that I can be with my wife being switched from here. As I heard many people did before switch from here instead of returning back to home country. Please let me know. Thanks.
