ILR - absence and queries

Post by Calos » Wed Nov 16, 2011 7:11 pm

Hi, Guys, I have a single business trip for 150 days, from recent ruling cases in the forum, there is very low possiblity to be granted ILR. Shall I try by post other than in person?

Any advises will be appreciate.

The way you apply is not going to influence the outcome of an application.

The documentary evidence(s) you submit to support your claim that continuous residence was not broken despite the absence may.

How detail is the letter needed to be?

Post by Calos » Wed Nov 16, 2011 8:18 pm

Understood, but some cases, even provide full detail explanations from employer, Home office still reject the application. How detail the letter need to be? Any rules to follow?

Browse and read through the topics mentioned (links for which have been given) in the topic I suggested you to read. You'll understand how applicants have tried to prove their point in an effort to make sure that their application is successful.

If I were you I would:

a) get a letter from the employer supporting the days outside UK as "Business requirements"
b) Salary slips for the mentioned periods
c) Bank statement to further coraborate salary.

But please read the mentioned links.

Thanks.
