By this method, she can avoid appeal fees and lawyer fees as well, incase, she got her ILR refused at first place.
Thank yo zahid for your input. Any Guru's comment please.

Sonia as I said to you earlier that your sister can apply 28 days in before, in your case you are under 28 days, so that should be fine, Zahid said that you should extend your visa which is right in a way, but at the end of the day before the rules change its good to file your Ten years ILR else you never know about HO, they are changing rules almost every month.

Hope this clarifies your query.

An important fact you missed sharing earlier.

Assuming that you mean Tier 1 (General) when you say "Tier 1":
If you apply for settlement under long residence, your dependant will need to switch to FLR(M) and apply for settlement (SET(M)) when 287(a)(i)(d) is fulfilled.

Alternatively, if you apply for settlement as a Tier 1 (General) migrant then your dependant may be eligible for settlement at the same time as you if your dependant has lived with you in the UK for at least 2 years.
Dear SushDMehta

Thanks for your replies and also they are very very informative.
I would like to ask you what type of documentation I would needing for dependent long residence visa ten years, as per your Information I came to know that My wife should apply on FLR M and after that can apply for Settlement. When she initially applied from India we have submitted marriage certificate, pics and wedding invitations. Are they enough or we have to submit some more documents for her FLR M, I do not have any other additional documentation like utilities because we are living in a house which includes bills. Some people said that we should have 6 evidences when applying for this kind of visa, please suggest me so that I can start preparing my documentation.
Thanks in advance
