Switching from Tier1 Dependant to another category

Hi,

I am on a Tier1 Dependant Visa, Can someone please guide if I can switch to the main applicant or any other category.

You cannot switch to Tier 1 General category as this is now closed.

To see if you qualify for any other categories, check the guidance notes or UKBA website

In other words, switching from dependent to main applicant is a new application
