Have PR now Getting Married with Non EEA National

Post by bobobo » Fri Jan 06, 2012 4:23 pm

Hi, I was married to an EEA national before, the marriage ended in a divorce 2.5 yrs back. I was wondering if I get married again to a Non EEA national now.

I am on PR (similar to ILR) so will I be able to apply for the visa for my better half after we get married. I would imagine there should be no issues as such as I already have Permanant Residency, But just wanted to cross check.
Thanks for your help

You will be able to use the routes available for settled people in the UK such as a spouse visa. You won't be able to use the EEA route as you are not a EEA national.
