Calling All Moderators- Help needed re ILR

Both myself and my husband have just been made redundant. I am British born and bred hubby is Tunisian. His ILR is due in a few months. If i dont find another job before his application does this mean it will definitely be refused? I now need to apply for Housing Benefit until i find another job. The HB will be in my name although we reside at the same address. will this also affect his ILR if i claim HB in my own right?

No, his application won't be refused as long as your relationship is genuine.
It's ok to claim HB, but you have to declare that you live together & he is subject to immigration control. Hope you manage to find work soon
