Naturalization after Divorced Critical Times.

Good evening dear board members that will be great help if you please able to assist me on this critical time as one of my friend came to UK in July 17 2004 on Student visa ,got Married on 14 November 2008 and got his Indefinite stay on 10 March 2011 . But unfortunately got divorced . so THE question ?

1: Can he apply for his naturalization on 5 years basis on 11/03/2012. and what sort of documents he requires to send to ukba.
