Immigating - Stamp 4

My Irish partner and I are getting married in my home country of Canada. We will be returning to Ireland and was wondering what process I have to do in order to remain in the state and to be able to work. We also have a Canadian born child.
I know that previously the process was just visiting the local Garda station with the marriage cert, passports etc, but has this changed?

you dont need visa to ireland upto 90 days once your in ireland with your wife just visit your local garda station.you will get stamp 4 for 1-5 years its all depend on the garda immigration officer.after 3 years legally marriage and living together you can apply for irish citizenship.good luck i hope you will enjoy your stay in ireland.

If you are living in Dublin, you need to go to GNIB on the Burgh Quay and if you are livng outside Dublin than local Garda station which is only on appointment. Good Luck
