Dependant VISA - Returning Original documents

Post by Aani » Fri Jan 13, 2012 3:31 pm

Dear All,

This forum has been very helpul in preparing dependant VISA for my son. Before I seek any help here my sincere Thanks for the valuable contributions.

Next week I am applying dependant visa for my son (inside UK, dependant to me). I am sending my original payslip, Bank statements and Original Marriage certificate.

Will UKBA return all the original documents? The reason i need is I am applying for my extension around SEP 2012 and I need my Original bank statement and payslip for the same.

Could someone share their experience?

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,
Aani

They will return them if you also provide photocopies (as is generally required).

Thank you for the reply. To be on safer side I will send the photocopies as well.

Could you also clarify regarding maintenance funds? The minimum balance in my account for the period 23 SEP - 23 DEC is 1900. Hope this is fine for my son's dependent VISA (I am in UK since 2010 March > 12 months).

As there are too many confusions reg maintenance funds just wanted make sure if that is OK. I believe it is more than enough as I am in UK for more than 12 months and its individual application for my son.

Could seniors confirm this. Too many question arose on the last moment

:)

Thanks in advance,
Aani
