Extension form for dependents

Hello,

I am filling Tier 1 extension forms for my wife and daughter and have doubts regarding Section 5 (Consent to be given to UKBA before requests for verification are sent to the bank):

1. The maintenance funds that I am showing are in two different accounts (my and my wife's), so in my wife's form I am completing part 1 (from the applicant) and part 3 (friend or relative who will provide financial support) of section 5.
2. In my daughter's form I will only fill part 3 (friend or relative who will provide financial support) of section 5.

Could someone please validate this.

your wife needs to complete part 1 on her form (from the applicant) and you complete part 3 assuming the accounts are in separate not joint names, i.e. one acc in your name, one in your wife's name

or your child's form, either you or your wife should sign part 1 of section 5 for your child, and, depending on whose account you are relying on, one of you will also need to sign the third part (third party providing support). If you are relying on both accounts again you should both sign this section.
