Travel with EEA Family Permit inside europe

Hi There

I'm an EU national and my wife which is a non-eu national has EEA Family permit. My question is, whether she needs a special visa to travel to other european countries such as Schengen Visa? or being my wife and traveling with me is sufficient?

Does she have a family permit or a residence card?

Many thanks. She has EEA Family Permit and according to my checks she can get the Schengen Visa for free, so it's alright
