Naturalisation for baby ?

Hello everyone,

My baby born last month and I have indefinite stay here in UK ? I am about to apply for British passport but one of friend was telling me to have naturalisation for baby. is that true? if yes, how to apply for that ?

If baby was born after you were granted ILR, baby is British from birth. You can apply directly for a passport. No need to apply for anything else. You will need to provide evidence that you have ILR (such as your passport) together with the application.

Only if child was born in the UK.
