Income from spread betting and share trading (in UK)

Few simple questions need your expert advice:

1.) Can income from spread-betting in the UK be shown in the income for claiming points for extension?
2.) Can income from share trading in the UK be shown in the income for claiming points for extension?
3.) Are we Tier-1 visa holders even allowed to do spread betting in UK? What about share trading (UK)? Have you done it, being a Tier-1 visa holder?
