Tier1 General extension and ILR - Jersey Island

Hi

Presently I am living and working in the UK on Teir 1 general issued in 2009 and due for renewal end of this year. Potentially I could be offered an employment in Jersey Island which can start in 4 weeks or before end of april 2012.

Please advice:

a) Can I peruse employment at Jersey on the basis of Tier 1 general visa?

(If not the employer is ready to apply work permit)

b) How will my relocation affect Tier 1 general visa extension and subsequent ILR in future ?
