My ILR file with HO and my wifes home contries passport due

My ILR file with HO and my wifes home contries passport due to expire
Hi! Please give me suggestion.
My ILR postal application with HO and my wife's home contries passport with all documents and her passport date is due to expire within 2 weeks. in that case whats your suggestion? should I have to inform to HO about this or they will know and proceeds accordingly my file applied on sept,25 2011 as tier-1 and still waiting
