Post by vagos » Sun Feb 05, 2012 12:45 am

Hi, My surname changed (after marriage) in my Indian passport after settlement and now I am going to apply for naturalization. what do I need to take care of most?
do I need additional proof other than marriage certificate for this?

Your marriage certificate is proof of name change - just make sure you also include oter documentation requested for the application

The AN form asks you to explain if your names dont match across all your documents in the Any Other Info box. We simply put in there that we had gotten married. The Marriage Cert is the proof
