BRP not needed for ILR???

Hi I call HO and told them that I will be applying ILR in APR and they said that i dont need BRP as it will be stamped directly in the passport.

Can some share the url where it is mentioned that ILR need BRP after 29feb?

Biometrics for ILR are being introduced on 29th of Feb 2012.
