Help. Salary threshold issue for ILR WP

Post by pramody2k » Fri Feb 17, 2012 11:33 am

Hi,
My 5 yr work permit Expires in Mar 2012 and I am applying for ILR next week.
The problem is that I work Offshore and I am paid a daily rig rate when I am offshore along with a Basic monthly salary.

As my montly salary is variable depending on the days I work I do not have a Fixed monthly payment apart from the Basic salary. I do not know what amount to put in the application form

Also my basic salary falls below the Income threshold of 31K per year but If you include the days I work Offshore, it goes well above the Threshold as is evident from the P60 forms of the last 5 years.

I am in a Fix please help me out here. :!:

Hi I'm in the same situation as you, the only thing that it's working for me is when they issued my work permit from home office stating how much I should be earning per year it's already above the income threshold so even though my salary goes above at the moment, I have asked to my employer to put my salary on the letter exactly how appears in the work permit so it should not be any problem.

Now, is your work permit letter stating your salary per year as above the income threshold?

Hope this help you.
