EEA3/4 returned (again)

Hi all,

I've received my EEA3/4 application back for the 3rd time from UKBA, as they're stating that I (EEA citizen) "did not provide sufficient evidence to show that your family member has been residing in the UK for a minimum of 5 years".

Now, I've sent my spouse's last 6 P60's (2006-2011), and Council Tax Statements since 2003/2004. Before I freak out and give up on the whole thing, I was wondering if anyone here could tell me what would be ideal to send with my Application. I've phoned UKBA and the UKBA employee told me what I've sent isn't enough proof..

That's a surprising response from the UKBA. I would expect that P60 and council tax bills (if they have her name and address on it) would be enough. It is also not clear why your evidence is enough but your husband isn't. Did you provide additional residence evidence for your self?

From your previous posts, you have gained PR status already in 2009. Is the evidence you provide covers 2004-2009 or 2006-2011? Or do you provide different residence evidence for yourself and your husband?

For my EEA3 application I've sent my last 2 rent agreements (which covers 2003 - today), plus electricity bills, bank statements, etc. As we've received the application back before bacause of this, we decided to send my spouse's documents since 2003/4 - 2011.

5 months down the drain, without documents (which means no travelling) and UKBA won't even accept the application.. Anyone else had this problem?

You have sent the two applications together? Are they progressing with your application but not with your husband?

No idea what is going on but it could be that you sent a lot of documents to cover your residence (is the rental agreement and bills only on your name) but very little evidence for your husband which makes the HO wonder why you did that.

Both EEA3 and EEA4 were sent together, but each with it's own documents on 2 separated envelopes (inside 1 x Special Delivery envelope). Both applications were sent back, 3 times.

Rental agreements/bills/etc on my name. My spouses P60's in his name, Council Tax statements on both names..

here is the other thing i was thinking

if the employer will write that your partner was never absent from the job for a period other than annual leave then it will help.

Hi all,

Just a question: the company I work for has just told us we'll all be made redundant, so I need to look for a new job. Should I phone UKBA and ask them for my passport back?

My application was sent back to them on 27/Jan/12 (for the 4th time), it was received on 30/Jan/12. No COA yet.
