Postal application delivery method?

Post by ujjwalshrestha » Sun Feb 26, 2012 2:05 pm

Going to apply for extension soon. What delivery method have you used for postal application? I am bit worried about sending my passport by mail. I could go for PEO, but because of time constraint, send by post is more convenient for me.

Any comments or suggestions is welcome and will be greatly appreciated.

Please use special delivery service of royal mail. The deliver is guaranteed next day and you can keep a track of it as well online..docs are insured too.dont forget to send a pre paid envelope of similar value to get your docs back from ukba.

I would certainly use Royal Mail Special Delivery and would also buy extra insurance to say the items are more valuable.
You can pay a few quid extra to buy some peace of mind.

Getting a larger insurance cover will not however mean RM will reimburse/pay one for the entire amount of insurance...but only the cost and value of docs delivered using the service...the basic covers £500, unless you think your docs are valued more in the market.
