Self Employed Sub contractor

Hi I am going to apply for my Ilr (HSMP+Tier1 not JR) and at the moment I have been working as a Sub contractor for the last 8 Months and I get paid through my Main contractor (Who gets payments from the Main company we Both work for) So Who DO I need to get my Employer's letter from ?
is it from my Current contractor or from the Main company ?
