PSW Expire in March 2013.Can he switch student visa?

PSW Expire in March 2013.Can he switch student visa?

One of my friend came uk in student visa in October 2003.
Now he is psw which will expire in March 2013.

Can he switch student visa and apply ILR in October 2013?

Yes he can do this, but he has to show progression. What level did he study to get PSW?

Can he study ACCA now.He completed MBA and get psw
