post dated shared accmodation?

Hi,

in order to process my wife's and baby's settlement (ilr dependant) visa, i need to show proof of accomodaiton. (rest is fine just query on accmodation).

i live in a shared house and read / advisecd by many in this forum to seek a 1 bedroom house if i cant include my name in the contract. just a thought, would it be ok if i mention in the covering letter that due to the expense of rent in london, i am living in a shared accmodation and can i show a post dated contract ( my friend owns a house and he is willing to provide documentation and NOC letter for my faimily to stay). i can even get a tenancy agreement but ny name wont be on council tax as his name will be. is this ok ?

please post in your previous topic - it is very hard trying to keep track of your queries when you are posting in different threads. Why can't you get put on the tenancy where you are staying at the moment? you said it was a 5 bed property with 4 people living in it?

oh sorry i thought i needed a post for another topic.

right, the present one i am living, my name is not on council tax nor on tenancy. just pay rent to my friend. so bit worried. my friend is willing to provide his house documents where ii can get a post dated contract - but again tenancy agreement will be on my name but not council tax

so confused with this

why can't your name be added to the tenancy agreement where you are currently living?

i can speak to landlord again but think he has a few problems and hence the trouble.

apart from the above, i have 1 more query. In order to get visa for my baby, can my wife write 1 covering letter for herself and the baby and can i send 1 sponser letter for both (insteaad of 2 sponser letter and covering letters)

also, i beleive you have to apply online to book an appointment from india but i cant find the link?

can you pls help me with the above 3 queries
